Program leadership

Project management is a relatively well understood and often competently executed function in modern businesses. However, leading complex programs requires more than great project management.

I believe that leading programs requires a balance of listening, passion, competence, courage, vision and adaptability.

There isn’t a one-size-fits-all – leadership requires constant learning from stakeholders, building and re-building relationships, taking measured risks, and constant nudges (and occasional shoves!) to keep things on track.

But most importantly, it requires a comprehensive understanding of the context, that allows the underlying value to be retained as the environment and approach evolves.

And like all good leaders, my objective is to create new leaders in your organization that can continue your journey after our engagement is complete.
